LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — NASA is calling all social media experts and influencers to register for their chance to attend the launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, which will be launching from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) in Florida.
A maximum of 50 social media users will be selected to go behind the scene at the two-day event with access similar to news media.
The launch of the rocket carrying the Dragon spacecraft is currently slated for no earlier than late April.
Those selected will be able to tweet, blog or post to Instagram from the frontlines.
Participants will get the chance to view the launch, tour NASA facilities, speak with representatives from NASA and SpaceX as well as take photos of the rocket and complex and meet other enthusiasts.
Those interested must hurry as the deadline is Sunday, March 24, at 11:59 p.m. EDT (8:59 p.m. PDT).
