A Twitter user going by the handle @Xrp4Fam tweeted on April 6 that their XRP and Bitcoin were stolen from their ledger. The XRP army intervenes, followed by support Changpeng Zhao himself.
I just got my XRP and Bitcoin stolen from my ledger… I’m devastated and do not know who to contact. The hacker got access to my phrases and transfers all the crypto to a binance account. Please someone help…@cz_binance @binance @digitalassetbuy @AlexCobb_ @CKJCryptonews

Binance founder and Chief Executive Officer, Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao stepped in asking the user to file a support ticket in an effort to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the user was unable to recover their funds after Binance couldn’t identify who it was that transferred Xrp4Fam’s funds.
CZ then took matters into his own hands, stating he’d look into the situation himself and asking the user for their support number and how their seed was compromised. A seed is a string of words generated by entropy and are needed in order to access your funds. Xrp4Fam stated it was a third-party note-taking app that was hacked. Someone managed to gain access to the notes and got their hands on the passphrase.
So far there has been no update regarding the user’s lost funds.
