Roselectronics Holding of Rostec State Corporation organizes the release of tracker bracelets based on LoRaWAN Internet of Things technology. The devices will allow remote supervision of children and the elderly. The use of LoRaWAN protocols for data transmission does not require SIM cards and cellular networks, and also provides a confident determination of coordinates in enclosed spaces or underground.

The production of tracker bracelets will be launched under an agreement between the Special Design and Technology Bureau for Relay Technology (SKTB RT, part of Roselectronics) and Internet of People LLC. In accordance with the document, the company will act as an industrial partner of the project "Don't get lost!" and will organize the production of geo-positioning devices based on LoRaWAN technology.

Thanks to the technical solutions used, the bracelets will have compact dimensions (less than 40x15x10 mm), and the operating time without charging will be more than 160 hours. The devices will be equipped with an SOS button, a removal sensor and a pulse oximeter. Data on the state of health and unplanned movements will be transmitted to a special cartographic application of the service "Don't get lost!".

"The release of new user devices for remote monitoring of children, the elderly or people with health problems will allow you to instantly learn about emerging problems, accurately determine the location of a person and take prompt actions to provide assistance. We are very pleased to become industrial partners of such a socially important project aimed at ensuring safety and saving people. The release of the first batch of devices is planned already this year," said Sergey Borovoy, Interim General Director of the SCTB of the Republic of Tatarstan.

LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) technology allows you to create energy-efficient long-range Internet of Things networks. Unlike sensors for Wi-Fi and 4G networks, LoRaWAN devices require significantly less energy, which increases the service life of the devices.
