The New Hampshire Tech Alliance has named Stephanie Baxter of Concord as director of programming and engagement. Baxter, who has more than a decade of experience in special events and community relations, most recently worked as event and public relations manager for the NH Union Leader. She also founded NH Event Professionals, a networking group open to any event professional in New Hampshire with the goal of providing education and networking opportunities.

Senet Inc., a Portsmouth-based provider of cloud-based software and services platforms for the Internet of Things, and Helium, the San Francisco-based company behind one of the world’s first peer-to-peer wireless networks, have created a network roaming integration, broadening access to public so-called LoRaWAN (low power area wide network) connectivity for customers deploying IoT applications throughout the United States. Senet operates the only national public, carrier-grade LoRaWAN network. The Helium Network joins a growing number of network operators and network infrastructure providers partnering with Senet to ensure that LoRaWAN connectivity can be accessed when and where it is needed, Senet said.

Position Imaging Inc., a Stratham-based company that specializes in omnichannel logistics fulfillment and asset tracking, has added three people to its leadership team. Dick Sillman has joined the firm as vice president of engineering. Prior to joining the company, he delivered products for Apple, Microsoft and Tile, among others. Matthew Knoff has joined the company as vice president of service and fulfillment. He was co-founder and previously was chief operations officer) for ButterflyMX. Matt Haynes has joined the firm as senior vice president of sales. Prior to joining Position Imaging, he served as vice president at Parcel Pending.

York IE, a vertically integrated strategic growth and investment firm in Manchester, has expanded its advisory services practice to help B2B companies more efficiently and predictably grow their businesses. The firm’s advisory services now cover financial operations, capital strategy, go-to-market and sales scaling. The firm also offers market, product, marketing and communications services. York IE chief financial officer Janelle Gorman is leading the financial operations and capital strategy services practice.

Emerson Ecologics, Manchester, a provider of products and solutions for integrative health professionals, has introduced a new tool on its Wellevate platform, which is designed to simplify the diagnostic testing process. The innovation aggregates the ordering, reporting and secure sharing of conventional and specialty labs through Wellevate, Emerson said. “Wellevate is a one-stop shop for connected care. We’re facilitating better patient outcomes by revolutionizing the fragmented diagnostics industry known today,” said Jaclyn Smeaton, senior vice president of medical education at the firm.

Mary Ellen Player, Consolidated Communications’ vice president of market management, will discuss how the company is developing public-private broadband partnerships with rural towns when she serves as a session panelist at Broadband Communities’ 2021 Summit on Wednesday Sept. 29. The summit is bringing together representatives from organizations engaged in successful partnerships with municipalities on broadband infrastructure and expansion. She will participate in the panel, “Stories from the Frontlines of Successful Public-Private Partnerships.”

The LightLab 3 Cannabis Analyzer, developed by Orange Photonics, has so far this year helped law enforcement identify and remove over $2 billion in cannabis plants and products from the illicit market, the New London-based company announced. LightLab 3 is a field-deployable cannabis analyzer that can be used by law enforcement and regulators to identify illicit cannabis operations that the company can cut into governments’ tax dollars where cannabis has been legalized.

Medical technology company Pneuma Systems Corp. of Portsmouth has entered into a product development collaboration with Takeda with the goal of improving the patient experience. Pneuma Systems has developed a series of technologies that are aimed at scientific and medical fluid flow and Takeda is a developer of plasma-derived therapies, such as immunoglobulin.
